INL Employees at Materials & Fuels Site Told to Stay Home

   The Idaho National Laboratory is asking employees who work at the Materials & Fuels complex to stay home today unless they are part of the essential crew.  INL will notify those employees through their direct management.
   Those required to work can either drive to work or use a bus that will leave from the Willow Creek building in Idaho Falls.
   The fire Tuesday burned an estimated 30,000 acres (nearly 47 square miles).

• Area of outage: Zip codes 83436, 83440, 83445, 83448, and 83451.

• Estimated time of restoration: 10:30 a.m. MDT.
• Cause: Loss of transmission line.
• Customers affected: Approximately 4,835 customers are without power.
• Crew: On site and repairs are underway.
