Snake River Firearms Instructors, LLC (SRFI) will host a NRA Women on Target (WOT) handgun shooting clinic on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Unified Sportsman’s Club, just outside of Rexburg, Idaho. The clinic will be held from 8:30am until 4:30pm. This clinic is designed for women ages 18 and older and provides formal handgun shooting instruction. Clinic attendees will learn how to safely handle a handgun, how to properly and safely store and handgun, how to properly clean a handgun, and of course, how to safely and properly shoot a handgun. Classroom and range instruction will be provided by SRFI’s cadre of highly skilled NRA certified firearms instructors. Students are encouraged to bring their own handguns to the clinic; .22 caliber pistols and ammunition will be provided by SRFI instructors to students who do not have their own handgun.
Students are required to pay a $30 deposit for the clinic. $20 of this deposit is refunded to participants who complete the clinic. The remaining $10 partially covers the cost of instructional materials that are given to clinic attendees. This clinic is provided as a service to the South Eastern Idaho community by Snake River Firearms Instructors. The clinic can accommodate 30 students, and interested students may go to http://www.snakeriverfirearmsinstructors.net to download a registration form and to obtain more information regarding this NRA WOT clinic. The registration deadline for this clinic is October 1, 2010. A list of recommended items to bring to the clinic is also listed on the website.
